Classic
Designs from the period 1946–1957. More advanced aerodynamics. Still mostly wooden or mixed constructions. Usually without flaps (with exceptions according to VGC rules).
VT-116 Orlík II is an icon of Czechoslovak gliding in the 60s and 70s. The all-wood glider with characteristic shapes was the backbone of aeroclub flying and served for training and performance flying. It is characterized by pleasant handling.
